A couple of weeks ago, our friends, Spencer and Jacey Davis, came for a visit. (They too were vacationing in Newport Beach and stopped by on their way south.) They are great friends from Boston. Their daughter, Avery, and Elsa are the cutest friends. They didn't skip a beat whispering secrets to each other, holding hands, and playing together. It made my heart melt. It is fun that they get together enough to so easily re-acquaint. It is always great seeing old friends. We stayed up late talking and visiting. I was sad to have them leave so soon. We have fond memories of our time in Boston. We had our babies at the same time and dealt with the same things all together. A lot has changed over the last four years. I can't believe how big our children are. These are fun pictures to see. (Funny thing is that Ava has the same scowl in both pictures. Maybe not much has changed.)
