On April 22nd, in celebration of Earth Day, the 1st graders put on "The Garden Show" a musical. It was very well done. The weeds (a bunch of boys in dark sunglasses and green tie-dyed shirts) overtook the flowers. The farmers (Elsa's class) had a literal hoe-down and removed the weeds. Elsa did a great job memorizing and saying her part loud and clear.
