We've enjoyed a few afternoons of swimming at the apartment's pool. The girls have LOVED playing with their friend, Callie. Nicole and I have alternated playdates a few times each week. This has been a lifesaver for Ava's boredom. She tires quickly with playgrounds and walking around. We started swim lessons this week, which have been fabulous. Ava now swims on her own and with her burdensome cast. (She gets the full length cast off tomorrow to be replaced with either a cast to her knee or a boot depending on her progress.) We love the beautiful California weather.
