Elsa is 7 years-old!

1 day old at the hospital. She had a head full of black hair. I wasn't expecting a dark-haired child. It didn't last too long.

One year-old. We celebrated her 1st birthday in Boston at the SFP playground with four other one year-olds. All had September birthdays.

Two years-old. She had a small party with neighbors and friends.

Three years old. We were in Washington, D.C. and Maryland visiting friends from school. Here she is at the Science Museum. She is holding an African Cockroach. She wasn't afraid of bugs then and still isn't.

Four years-old. Grandma and Grandpa H were visiting us in Indiana for Labor Day. Elsa loved her caterpillar cake. Elsa had a princess party with all of her friends. It was her first "official" party.

Five years-old. Elsa was excited to open presents first thing in the morning before Brian left for work. She later had a craft party with all of her friends. They painted wood animals, decorated aprons, and make paper bag animals with tissue paper and feathers.

Six years-old. Elsa had a "Fancy Nancy" birthday party. Here she is looking fabulous!

Seven years-old. We celebrated her special day at Disneyland. We dined at Ariel's Grotto where Elsa and Ava got to meet Ariel, Jasmine, Cinderella, Snow White and Sleeping Beauty. It was a fun experience and a special treat.

Happy Birthday sweet Elsa! Everyone should have a first child like Elsa. She aims to please. She is kind, loving, helpful, and very energetic and passionate. Elsa loves to draw and wants to be an artist. She has a good eye for beautiful things. She loves people and is kind to all. She is also very responsible. She WANTS to do chores, make her own meals/lunches, clean her room, etc. She has accurately been described as a frisky puppy. She has boundless energy and excitement for life. She wants to go everywhere and try everything - diving with sharks, sky diving, traveling the world. I have no doubt that she can accomplish whatever she dreams. She is smart and thoughtful. I love her excitement for learning, especially reading. My favorite thing is to sit down with her when she reads. Unknowing, she acts out the tones and expressions being described in the book. It is pure entertainment. In so many ways she is a mature little girl, but she still loves being held and cuddling up to her parents. She adores her father, a true daddy's girl. We all adore her. Greta gets excited to see Elsa. Ava looks up to her. She is a blessing in our family. We love you, Elsa Marie.
