In front of Sleeping Beauty's castle.
I am getting too old for the teacups. I was so dizzy afterwards, but Elsa and Ava managed just fine to walk out without swaying.
Elsa enjoyed her very messy ice cream bar.
We celebrated Ava's 5th birthday at Disneyland. How can you top that for a birthday celebration? She deserved it. We've been planning on going since we knew we were moving to California. Our day at Disney was in lieu of a birthday party with friends. Brian was able to take off work so we could go as a family. It was the greatest day. I, for one, will attest that it really is the happiest place on earth. The weather was perfect in the mid-high 70's. The lines went quickly. Elsa and Ava loved all the rides and were tall enough to ride all the roller coasters, which they LOVED. Best of all, they were so appreciative. They must have said at least 5 or 6 times each, "Thank you for taking us to Disneyland." They didn't ask for a single toy or souvenir. They were happy to go on all the rides. Fortunately, for all of us, we have passes so we can go all year. And at the end of the long busy day, it was so nice to drive home and sleep in our own beds.
