It was spirit week at Elsa's school. They started the week out with "Crazy Day" where they can have crazy hair, wear crazy hats, socks, clothes, etc. Elsa decided to wear the wig she used three years ago when she was Dora the Explorer for Halloween. We did a trial run the day before. Elsa came downstairs to where Ava was playing. Ava was saying something to Elsa when she looked up and paused. Ava stood up and walked slowly towards Elsa with an outreached hand. She asked Elsa what she did. Elsa responded, "Mom just dyed my hair black and cut it." (Yeah right.) Ava pushed her hair back and then smiled when she saw the blond hair. She said, "Whoa Elsa, I thought you sure looked weird. You were just joking." The next morning when Elsa showed up to the bus stop, the kids all stared at her. She liked the attention. She came home from school with her wig off because a boy sitting next to her "didn't like her different hair." She told me that the kids in class were all teasing/asking where was Elsa? They only noticed a new girl in class. :) (Notice her "crazy" Scooby Doo socks? Thanks Tenny for the gift.)
