Brian competed in the Malibu Triathlon and made us all proud! He spent the last few months training which required a lot of early mornings and Saturday mornings. I was impressed with his dedication, especially improving his swim skills. He attended swim clinics to help with form, spent quite a few Saturday mornings doing ocean swims in frigid temperatures. On the day of the race, he left at 4:30am. It was Elsa's birthday party so sadly, we weren't there to cheer him on. Instead, I spent the morning running around preparing for the day's events. Brian came home and helped with set-up for the party. He was a good sport considering he could barely keep his eyes open throughout the evening, but he was there helping and supporting Elsa throughout the night!
