It was a Jewish holiday on Thursday, so no school. As a pre-birthday celebration for Elsa, my friend, Michelle, and I took our girls to the El Capitan Theatre on Hollywood Blvd. to see the new Tinkerbell movie. Tinkerbell made a personal appearance for the audience, as well as putting on a little firework show. The theatre is very pretty with four rows of curtains that kept separating vertically, then horizontally, etc. Everyone was dazzled before the movie even started. Then giant buckets of popcorn, lemonade, and candy topped it off. I am not sure if it was the movie or the popcorn, but Greta stayed in her seat throughout the show.
Afterwards, we headed to the AG store at The Grove. With her birthday money, Elsa purchased the doll carrier she has been wanting since we went to the AG store on Ava's birthday.
The girls had fun looking around at the new items and the display rooms. (I tried to slyly purchase a few of Elizabeth's outfits since we just received a letter and email that Elizabeth and Felicity are being archived in a few months. Grrr...marketers.)
We all had such a great day. It was the perfect way to spend a day-off school.
